Professor Daryl Higgins, Director, and Douglas Russell, Senior Researcher, from Institute of Child Protection Studies, and Safeguarding Specialist Samantha Dellamarta presented a talk about a project that helped Hockey Australia measure the impact of safeguarding strategies rolled out in 2023 across Australia. This approach to continuous quality improvement in safeguarding at Hockey Australia can be applied to other sporting organisations. The findings and implications will be of interest to all sporting codes.
